CHILD PROTECTION
Child Protection
Our commitment to child safety
Our organisation is committed to the safety and wellbeing of all children and our community.
We aim to foster a culturally safe environment that supports and respects all children, including educators, volunteers and families.
Our organisation is committed to preventing child abuse and identifying risks early so they can be removed and/or reduced.
We are committed to the safety, participation and empowerment of all children.
We have zero tolerance for child abuse, and all allegations and safety concerns will be treated consistently with the law, regulations, services procedures, and policies.
We support and respect all children, as well as our educators and volunteers. We are committed to the cultural safety of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, the cultural safety of children from a culturally and/or linguistically diverse background, and to providing a safe and inclusive environment
for children with a disability.
We have specific policies, procedures and training in place that support our leadership team, educators and volunteers to achieve the above commitment.

Child Story
Child Story is an information technology system which places each child supported by the child protection system at the centre of their story with a network of family, carers, caseworkers and other service providers around them. Child Story works directly with the people who work closely with these children to understand what it really takes to work with them. We’ve used this knowledge to build a new IT system to help protect children at risk. Find out more about the child’s journey and how it is being improved through each component of ChildStory.
