The children of SGOOSH are provided with breakfast, afternoon tea and a 5pm snack every day.
We take pride in offering a healthy menu that is pleasing to all the children and caters for all dietary needs whether they be medical, cultural or personal preference.
SGOOSH is a nut free centre.
We welcome the children and their families input into the food we serve and our menu is regularly checked by a nutritionist.
Some examples of our breakfast menu:
Multigrain toast, english muffins, crumpets and raisin toast with spreads.
Weet Bix, Corn Flakes or Rice Bubbles with milk.
Yoghurt and fruit or fruit smoothies.
Cheese or Spaghetti toasties.
Banana bread made by the children.
We always start our afternoon tea with a selection of fruit.
Some examples of afternoon tea are:
Salad platters with fresh seasonal vegetables, cheese and a choice of cold meats served with either rice cakes/crackers, Turkish bread, wraps or Lebanese bread.
Sandwiches filled with a variety of spreads, cold meats, salad and cheese
Nachos

We also regularly have “childrens choice” food days which include items such as sausage sizzles, chicken tenders, hot dogs, garlic bread or noodles.
5pm snack always includes fruit and a healthy snack option such as popcorn, pretzels or rice cakes with the occasional packet of cookies as a surprise.
